TiE Young Entrepreneurs Program

I was part of a four-member team that participated in and won the TiE Young Entrepreneurs Bangalore Regional Finals. We developed a mobile app called Ethera, a collaborative platform aimed at promoting emotional wellness for middle and high school students through subscription-based counseling services.

The app fosters both peer-to-peer and peer-to-counselor interactions within the trusted boundaries of a school. This approach ensures that students engage in a safe environment, free from external interference or imposters, which is crucial at such an impressionable age. Ethera seeks to reduce the stigma associated with mental health by encouraging everyone to participate—whether by supporting others, receiving support, or even doing both.

Additionally, the app enables schools to onboard qualified child counselors who can intervene as needed, offering professional guidance. By creating a secure chat environment with trusted peers and professionals, Ethera minimizes the risks of stigma and misuse, ensuring students feel safe seeking the help they need.
